Building of the Trail Network commenced in Early 2018. Driven by the owner, Richard Ussher & a group of dedicated volunteers now known as the Cable Bay Dig Crew, we have over 40km of single track through a 400Ha block of very special native forest. This makes up of 28 individual trails (inclu. links) and the best part is - its forever continuing.

December 2024, we're currently working on 3 new builds at the moment! 1 secret squirrel that's going to be the blind raced trail in the Cable Bay Enduro 2025 National Champs come Feb 28th - March 2nd, and a couple others that will probably be opened a little later in Autumn.

Access to the park is via yearly membership or the purchase of a day pass. Riding will be available during business hours for day pass holders. Day pass holders can ride after hours if they start during business hours and arrange for a gate exit code prior to us closing. Riders can bring their own bikes or we have a small fleet of E-bikes, Standard & premium options and Full Suspension Giant Reigns available for hire. Rentals come with maps and helmets - full face or open but we don't provide knee or elbow pads as of yet.

Yearly memberships are purchased via the Hivepass app and include after hours access, personal key fob for gate access (one off $5 fee) and discounts at our Base Cafe. 

Members must sign an access waiver upon start of their membership and on renewal, swipe their fob at the office and then set off to enjoy some of the best Native riding in Nelson.
